Vehicle gates open daily between 9 am and 5 pm


Historic Cemetery established 1858 with many interesting & influential people buried there as well as victims of Victoria's worst mine disaster of 1882.

Visit our cemetery to see the last resting place of some very notable people including Sir Alexander & Lady Millie Peacock, Sir Daryl and Lady Joan Lindsay, many WWI & WWII veterans, past Mayors of Creswick, business leaders who helped shape our town.

Visit our sacred Chinese area, currently under development.
This is an open cemetery still accepting burials. Situated on the outskirts of Creswick heading towards Clunes, look for the lovely iron gates and fence on your right.

General Information

Vehicle gates open daily between 9 am and 5 pm. No Dogs permitted. No Glass jars or bottles to be placed on any graves.

Awards

Our Secretary Mrs. Wendy Ohlsen received the inaugural Excellence in Cemeteries award from the CCAV for her work in restoration of the Miners graves and finding the Chinese burials.
